Since its founding in 2003, Cornerstone Learning has dedicated itself to the goal of providing that best targeted academic skill remediation and reinforcement services available anywhere at any cost. We know that when students struggle with basic skills, it negatively affects many aspects of

life beyond school.

We serve K-12 and adult learners in most academic subjects, particularly in reading, writing, and math, but our services go far beyond what’s usually thought of as traditional tutoring. Skill remediation means identifying where the breakdowns have occurred in the learning process and addressing

those skill gaps directly. 

We know from decades of experience that no one academic program is suitable for all students, and we draw from dozens of research-based resources to create individualized programs adapted to the needs of each student. 

Cornerstone offers music lessons on a range of instruments – acoustic and electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, saxophone, highland bagpipes, and many others, as well as vocal coaching. All music sessions are one-on-one and are tailored to the student’s musical interests and goals.

Through Synergy Defense Arts, a local martial arts school allied with the American Judo and Jujitsu Association, we can connect you with a group of local people who are committed to the study of effective, practical self-defense methods. The environment is safe, fun, adaptive, and non-competitive.
